Help AAWA increase its presence with legislators in Olympia. Please join us on Wednesday, February 26, to help All Aboard Washington advocate for safer, more reliable, and more frequent passenger rail service connecting communities of all sizes, on both sides of the Cascades.
We'll provide information and tips for communicating with elected officials. You are also welcome to join us at the AAWA-sponsored lunch for the Legislative Rail Caucus at noon in the House Rules Room.
If you can attend, please contact your legislators to make appointments (or we can make arrangements for you), and contact us so that we know who will be joining us. Meet at 9:30 am at the Capitol steps on the north side of the Capitol building.
"I wish to extend my appreciation to members of the Rail Passengers Association for their steadfast advocacy to protect not only the Southwest Chief, but all rail transportation which plays such an important role in our economy and local communities. I look forward to continuing this close partnership, both with America’s rail passengers and our bipartisan group of senators, to ensure a bright future for the Southwest Chief route."
Senator Jerry Moran (R-KS)
