Dinner Train 2 Alexander Road Portsmouth RI 02871
This location will serve as a meeting venue only. No food is involved, so make other arrangements prior to or following the meeting. The train will be stationary.
Directions (Driving): (Use the address '2 Alexander Road, Portsmouth' for GPS maps). From West Main Road (Rt.114) in Portsmouth, the entrance to the "Melville Marine District" (big sign) is directly across from the Dunkin' Donuts on West Main Road. Follow Stringham Road all the way to the bottom, cross the tracks, and bear right into the lot. There is ample parking.
For those who use public transit, it might be preferable to get a ride with someone who's driving. RIPTA's 60-bus does travel on West Main Road, but at half the schedule where there's a bus once an hour daytime, and at night that becomes a bus every two hours. Also, from the West Main Road / Stringham Road intersection, the distance to the Melville Depot is one mile.

"We would not be in the position we’re in if it weren’t for the advocacy of so many of you, over a long period of time, who have believed in passenger rail, and believe that passenger rail should really be a part of America’s intermodal transportation system."
Secretary Ray LaHood, U.S. Department of Transportation
