Comments: This small community, once a major railroad hub, has made an heroic effort to preserve its station, which is enormous for a town of this size. Part of the depot houses the Michigan Railroad History Museum, and also a library and archives with a surprisingly large collection of original documents available to researchers. Two very busy major lines cross here, and it is a favorite site for train-watchers. |
