Cincinnati Union Terminal, a classic train station, has few amenities for the thrice weekly, middle-of-the night Cardinal passengers. The terminal is staffed by museum center security personnel but not much information or directions are provided to Amtrak passengers, although they will call a taxi if requested. Cincinnati has no direction signage on any of the expressways or exits required to reach Union Terminal and new Amtrak passengers are left a bit bewildered trying to reach the terminal unless they already know it is now the "Museum Center".
