The Amtrak Board at a news conference today announced that Acting President and CEO George Warrington could drop the word "acting" from his title. Board Chairman and Wisconsin Gov. Tommy Thompson, who has served with Presidents Claytor, Downs, and Warrington, said, "I think George is going to be the star of all of them."
