SIGNERS OF SENATE LETTER URGING AMTRAK FUNDING

Fifty-one Senators signed a letter to Senate Budget Chairman Kent Conrad
(D.-N.Dak.) and Ranking Republican Pete Domenici (N.Mex.) urging that the Senate
budget resolution allow for Amtrak getting $1.2 billion in fiscal 2003. This is
the amount that Amtrak said in early February, 2002, it needed in order to
survive through fiscal 2003. Here are the names of the 51:
