» Description - Treasurer

The Treasurer shall supervise the custody of all funds and securities of the Association.  The Treasurer shall:

(a) Review procedures designed to:

1)  ensure that all moneys due and payable to the Association are properly received and accounted for, and that all such moneys are deposited in the name of the Association in such banks, trust companies, or other depositories as shall be selected by the Board of Directors;

2)  ensure that all disbursements are properly made and accounted for.

(b) Supervise an independent Certified Public Accountant in her/his performance of a formal annual audit of the Association’s financial records as required by these Bylaws.

(c) Perform all other duties duties incident to the office of Treasurer and such other duties as from time to time may be assigned by the Chair or by the Board of Directors.

(d) Give a bond for the faithful discharge of duties in such sum and with such sureties as the Board of Directors may determine.
