» Pro-Amtrak Resolutions from local governments

Another great way to engage you local politicians on the Amtrak issue is to ask your local governing body to pass a resolution supporting Amtrak funding.  This resolution should then be forwarded onto your Congressional delegation (the local House member and your two Senators) in Washington, D.C.

How to start a resolution campaign, presentation given by John Langdon at the October 2005 NARP Board Meeting.  John has spearheaded efforts to get nearly 50 resolutions passed by local governments in Michigan.
