Give the Gift of Mobility

This holiday, you can give your friends and family the gift of better transportation - and discounted rail travel - by giving them a membership in the National Association of Railroad Passengers!

Through January 12, 2010, we are offering gift memberships $5 off the regular dues for gifts to new members. Thus, a gift one-year individual membership is now just $30, and a gift senior membership is only $20. Plus, for just $40 for one year, you can give a family membership entitling two people to NARP’s 10% Amtrak discount.

You can either:

1. Print and fill out the form below and mail it to our office with a check, or
2. Use our new and improved online membership form and pay by credit or debit card.

Using the online form, you may select “Other Amount” and fill in the amount that is $5 less than the established minimum for the membership you wish to give. Fill in the recipient’s information under “Contact Information,” (including the second member’s name if you are giving a family membership) and enter your (the giver’s) name and address where indicated. 

Gift recipients will get all of the benefits of membership, including our monthly newsletter, special travel tips, offers and invitations to events. You will also be helping to expand NARP’s base of supporters, which is critical to achieving our mission of bringing about a modern nationwide network of fast, frequent, affordable trains. The recipient will be mailed a membership packet, including a card, a copy of the latest newsletter, and an “I’d Rather Be On the Train” bumper sticker.

Give your loved ones a voice in America’s future - a future that allows us to be connected to each other, without mortgaging our children’s future for our present needs.  Trains and transit will get us there.
