All NARP members in New York State are encouraged to take part in the annual membership meeting, organized by and held jointly with the Empire State Passengers Association (ESPA). It will take place at the Backstage Pub in downtown Schenectady, just steps from the Amtrak station.

NARP, in conjunction with All Aboard Washington and Association of Oregon Rail and Transit Advocates, has set the date for the Spring 2012 membership meeting for passenger rail advocates in Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana (all advocates will be welcome, regardless of residence).

May 05, 2012: National Train Day in Toledo

Toledo, Ohio celebrates National Train Day a week earlier than the rest of the country. Come to the Toledo Amtrak Station at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Plaza between 9:30 AM and 4:00 PM to take part in the festivities and tour Amtrak’s 40th Anniversary exhibit train, full of Amtrak memorabilia.
